Feeling Irritated, Angry........
Feeling angry and irritated today. My mood has been less than pleasant, let's put it that way.
Regardless, it's better to be pissed off, than pissed up.
Out to my AA meeting, and back to the gym to blow off more steam if necessary. I don't feel like drinking, just extremely agitated and frustrated. It feels like I can't do anything right.
I guess these are just your usual growing pains though. Nothing I can't handle. Called my sponsor, and helped cool me off quite a bit.
I'll get a bite to eat before the meeting. Should feel better.

(((Squizz))) - sorry you're feeling yukky, but sounds like you are doing all the right stuff. I've been in recovery for a while, and still have days when I'm restless, irritable, and discontent. Those days never last.
Hugs and prayers,
Amy

Hey Squizz! Funny that you said "less than plesant." I said the exact same thing a few days ago to my mom when I was having a very high irritation time. I told her (we were at a hotel) that I was going to stay in the lobby alone for a while because "i'm irritated and going to be less than plesant to be around for a while." It worked and she was glad I gave her a heads up. It's great that you're using those positive coping skills to get through a difficult time. You sound that, despite the irritation, you're doing awesome! Congrats!

SSIL LOL that's the best!
Squizz...yep, some days are just like that. I don't give it any more value or weight than that. "Chaos is inherent in all compounded things. Strive on with diligence." (Buddha)
Sounds like you are doing that

Ha Ha Squizz, on days like that I have people around me scratching their heads when I stop, shake my fist and declare "I'm NOT going to pay a lot for that muffler!"....then return to my regularly scheduled "programming"
