Decided to share... I was on the Perez Hilton site ( yea yea, I know! lol ) and I came across a post about Joe Bodolai - a 63 year old former SNL writer who was found dead in his hotel room of an apparent suicide... What struck me about this article and his apparent (I keep saying apparent because it is after all Perez Hilton) suicide note (which was a blog post) was that he was struggling with alcoholism and I guess he found himself at the end of the road and just couldn't deal with it anymore... I don't know. It makes me sad. I wish people found a bit more strength in trying to overcome this issue - and for myself as well - and get sober and feel better. I don't know his whole story - what his struggles were like and such...but if you guys want to read the blog post than here is the link --> IF THIS WERE Y0UR LAST DAY ALIVE WHAT WOULD YOU DO? « Say It Ain't So, Joe! . Rest Easy Joe. |

Some would say that it isn't strength that overcomes alcoholism, but rather it is admitting we are powerless over it. Regardless, I hope you find your way through. |
