Mylee,

Day one? How many years? How much a day? Just oxys? Check out some of the threads on the substance abuse section of this forum. Lots of help there.

Of course you are.

Recovery is harder if you are alone. Jump onto the forum I told you about and you'll have lots of company.

All you can do at this point is allow yourself to feel that desire and not give into it. Just don't give into it. Allow your mind to talk you out of it. Allow it to remember all the crap which results from it. Simply get through this day. It's just one day. There will be upheaval; so what? allow it to happen and simply say no for today. You can do this. You really can.

Hi Mylee. Have you considered checking out AA or NA? Face to face recovery is very helpful for many including myself.

Welcome.

Yes, recovery is hard, especially if you try to go it alone. As other's have said, face to face support is helpful.

Hi mylee. i know exactly how you feel. I abused oxys awhile back. Withdrawals are very rough with this stuff. If it gets really bad, go to the ER. You could go into seziures. Not trying to scare you too bad, just giving you a heads up. The first week to 10 days are the hardest.
You CAN do this. It may not seem like it now, but you can do it. Go to a lot of AA or NA meetings if possible. Read and post on this site. Let people here and at meetings know how you are feeling. People here and at meetings will reach out to you if you let them. Don't be scared to reach out. Many, many of us have been where you are at.
Stay strong, God bless.
