A TV tray with comfort food, later a book that warms my heart, & a hug, especially now,

Last night's meal was mexican, and managed to keep it down. This morning is the beginning of detox ( again). Shaky and feeling so crappy. I wish I could just sleep through this part and wake up clear headed and energized. Oh well.

Hang in there, SD. Just think of all the spicy meals in your future that you won't have to worry about keeping down. One of the best things about sobering up for me has been the return of an appetite!

Stay focused!

(Hugs)

Well, I have my first round of continuing care (post treatment) this afternoon. But looking forward to it. I'll be posting later this afternoon, though so I'll be checking on you!

I too will be here all day SD777! Big hugs out to you! I know you feel like cr*p right now but it will get better. I'm on day 9 which isn't much but I've moved past the feeling like I'm hungover, tired, achey, sick, etc. Now I'm onto the mental issues of everything.
Hang in there. :ghug3

NP SD777. We all know what you're going through. Each of us here have at one point or another gone through the whole detox process. Not fun but the good news is once it passes we don't have to do it again and we can move to other parts of our recovery.
