Six months yesterday
Yesterday marked six months since my last drink. Never thought back then this would have been possible.

There's been ups and downs but through AA, and the support of people on this site, I'm at a point in my life where my sobriety is finally not conditional - as long as I have X, Y and Z, as long as this doesn't happen, that happens in this way etc.

Sobriety hasn't cured me of anything. But after 36 years, I finally know what's wrong with me now and that knowledge is keeping me sober, and happy being sober, a day at a time.
