Just made my counseling appt

Just got the nerve to call a therapist specializing in alcohol abuse and.depression/anxiety...the 3 things I suffer from to an extent thats intolerable now.....wonder if I will actually follow through with the appointment. I never do due to anxiety.and fear. God, please let me follow through this time......

Some people looking for answers to help
them deal with their addictions may come
to sights like SR, or go to AA meetings or
see a councilor/therapist.

I often hear that many are affaid of AA
meetings because there are so many people
and that makes them nervous, so they end
up talking themselves out of going.

Here in SR, people can feel comfortable
sitting in front of a computer and feel
secure and safe getting info they need
right in the comforts of their own home.

Seeing an addiction councilor to get you
started in ur own recovery sounds good.
That councilor who is degreed in their field
will explain all that u need to hear and
suggestions options to guide you along.

If you go, go for you and no one else. You
are willing to go any lengths to help urself
find ways to get healthy again and avoid
temptations of a substance that is destroying
ur mind body and soul.

This councilor will give you the tools to help
you get started and work thru some issues
to become a healthier happier person in ur
lifes journey.

Keep it up. Do yourself a favor. Keep the appointment and go. Give it a shot. You have everything to lose.

Oh yes please go to the appointment Bella.
I've been seeing an addiction counsellor myself and she has helped me stay sober now for 4 months.
In the end, its all up to us to change but the counsellor is an enormous boost.

Do keep the appointment, Bella.

It's definitely worth putting the effort into going. Good luck!
