Back to Day 1 again.
Back to a week now... Day 7.
Payed all my bills for the month and reprogrammed the Remote Keyless Entry to my car. A pretty wimpy "accomplishment", but I guess it beats waking up with a hangover wondering what you did the night before.

I'm in an outpatient program. I too ruined thanksgiving for my BF and his grown children. I dont think I ruined it, but I embarrassed him and myself for sure. I learned in group today an alcoholics priorities should be: recovery is 1, then family, then job then socializing.
Get as much help as you can.

Day 13
Been getting better. Certainly feel better. But I really feel like I need a drink for some reason. Haven't even been in a bar or even around alcohol recently. But the feeling is there.
All I have to do is tell myself "I didn't learn my lesson last time, and I'd do it again in a second if I'm not careful." Urges and cravings are normal, but it's ok as long as I don't drink. They'll pass.
