feeling antsy
after a week of inpatient rehab I'm feeling off and uncertain. My ego has taken a big hit and my emotions are all over the place. I'm off to the movies to distract myself for a few hours then will probably stay on this site all night.
I am too! Is it a full moon??? LOL. Oh no wait, it's just a long weekend with too much time to think! My mind is in th "hood" right now. I need to go to a nicer neighborhood! I got my hair done today, that took up 3 hours, now what?

I am doing the same, sitting around watching the 3rd football game of the day. Family is all out at games and moving on with their life. I have an appointment in the morning at the rehab hospital. Not sure what is in store inpatient or out. Just cant stop the brain from racing.
Well watched some TV now on the IPad again! Which I type like poo on! Lol. Tomorrow I think I'll be Edward Sissorhands and prune some tree! I have found focus and motivation to be very challenging right now. Oh and making decisions! I can't even decide what to eat!
Yep. Stick around. Watch some TV too maybe (but not programs where they are boozing it up). This period is bound to be tough and dangerous as well. Watch yourself like a hawk since your body is very likely talking to your mind to try to get the alcohol back again. Keep in touch with other recovering persons, make some phone calls. Stick with it and you'll never never regret what you are in the process of doing. It takes courage, stamina, humility and endless determination. But as time goes on it gets a lot easier. Just tell yourself that you're on your way to being happier than you've been for a long long time.
