My Day One

Today is my Day One. My first ever. Well other than quitting drinking during my pregnancies. But this one is for me. I am actually really enjoying being so clear-headed at 11 pm at night. It's awesome. I am looking forward to actually feeling good tomorrow!

It's been a tough day, I was really emotional at times, having to say goodbye to something that is such a part of me. But I am excited for the future I have ahead of me in exchange. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for the support I got immediately after I began posting here, as well as hearing all of your success stories. Thanks guys, am looking forward to Day Two.

Congrats Jenners on making it through your first 24 hours! Now fight the battle for another 24. It gets easier, trust me on this.

That's awesome, Jenners.

I'm excited you decided to go all in. What a wonderful gift to yourself, your friends and family.

Good stuff Jenners!

I'm so glad I checked in here before bed! Was hoping that I'd see this post from you!

Remember to keep busy...eat if your hungry....eat if you're not hungry(LOL) and find yourself a safe drink that psychologically fill that void for you for the time being - iced tea, diet coke, water, Perrier - that sort of thing.

You may find sleep tough for a few nights. When I hung them up I had about a week of night sweats...wake up in the middle of the night drenched! It soon goes away though.

You're doing the right thing...for you and your family. Proud of you.

Jenners - you must be so proud of yourself. Yes it's like saying goodbye to your best friend. You just don't realize that it's a bad best friend who keeps letting you down.

How's Day 2 going Jenners?

This will be a hard one for you I'm sure. Fridays are usually the day that we try to convince ourselves that we deserve a reward for the hard week that we've put in.

It's the same in all of us. The reason it's exactly the same is that it isn't actually us that is making the argument - it's our addiction.

Post on here this evening if you need some support.
