Geno,

I respect you for hopping right on this board and admitting you drank last night.

Try to learn from this so that the same thing doesn't happen again. Don't beat yourself up - negative energy doesn't help anything. Today is a new day.

Slip-ups are not uncommon. Just get back on the horse now.

Good job coming right back! You never fail if you keep trying. Don't forget the sober time you've had and all that you've learned along the way. And don't beat yourself up too much today - easier said than done I know.

When you're feeling better look at what led up to your drinking and then formulate a plan for next time.

You can do this! :ghug3

The cool thing about recovery is that just because you drink or not, as long as you are recovering, one slip up doesn't negate any progress you might have made so far. That doesn't mean keep on drinking, but if a sobriety date was all you were concerned about, then that's just setting yourself up for failure.

geno... it is totally 100% that alcohol is everywhere.. what I have found that works is just the resolve I have within myself. I use my network like crazy...

Geno. Thanks for posting this morning. It does s--k - quitting that is For me it's like quitting smoking. It's hard. What you're doing is hard but you can do it.

You're committed. You will quit. You're back here and posting. Time to move forward and not look back. What can you do next time to avoid what happened when you picked up the drink. Take action i think you'll feel better taking action
