Having a hard time this afternoon
Having a hard time this afternoon
Don't know why - just having a really tough time. If I could find a beer I think I'd drink it - but none here (Thank God) so I'll go down to the basement and pray this feeling passes and put a second coat on the basement bathroom.
This has GOT to get easier.
This has GOT to get easier.

it definitely does get easier Tigger
I leant on this community a lot in my early days - the support I found here got me through
Just remember however hard this is, it's leading somewhere - there's no answers back the way we came
hang in there

Hi Tigger,
I can so relate. My massive cravings have subsided. I could not believe the intensity after 5 months sober. The thing is they do pass and I feel so much stronger. I was annoyed by the cravings because they were interfering in my life, I need to address them. I stayed on this website, I asked my HP for help and ate a lot of chocolate. This was the week I was going to reduce my sugar intake. No matter, I did not pick up a drink. I am so grateful I didn't.
Do something nice for yourself.
All the best

It does get better, but give yourself some time to readjust. It took me at least a couple months until I got the feeling I was going to make it, I was going to be alright. It sure was worth the wait tho...
