5 Months Sober
5 Months Sober
WOW It's been 5 months now for me. This last month has been the best so far. I've had way more good days than bad ones. I went on a 2 hour long car ride with my wife. I haven't done that since I quit. I deal with car sickness/anxiety. I was able to be in the car and not freak out or feel sick. I feel that things are getting better as each month goes by. I hope that it just gets better and better. So glad to be sober and out of the grip of alcohol. I know I'll face more challenges as I go on, but I feel that I can handle anything.
@CaiHong I don't really have to fight the craving to much. The only time it's been hard on me is going out to a dinner with a lot of people and when we have get together s at my house. Luckily that doesn't happen to often. And when it does I just remember what I've been through these last 5 months. That keeps me strong.
@LoftyIdeals I'm glad to have given you that help. Stay strong and keep up the great work. Living sober is way better then being a drunk mess all the time.
