Beyond Agitated/Venting
No reason in paticular, I'm just agitated. I started feeling this way yesterday, and I just can't get rid of this crappy, anxious feeling I have.
I'm not depressed, nor do I have the urge to get drunk, just the urge to rip people's face's off.
I am at work right now, and I can't even begin to describe how irritated I am with people. The stupid questions that they are asking, as if they just started in this business.
I keep praying that this feeling will pass, just as with any urge or other crappy feeling that once in awhile comes along. I just can't seem to shake this one.

Gee you described me every day when I woke up. LOL Of course I had an untreated mental situation but hey, at least I don't feel like punching anyone anymore! If it continues seek some medical attention. At the very least you can start to figure out where all the irritability is coming from. It's not a fun state of mind to say the least!

I've been one of those easily irritable people my whole life. Bull headed, stubborn and does not suffer fools lightly (don't ever get in a car with me, even sober!) Not sure if drinking made it better or worse but since I stopped drinking, yes I'm irritable but not any more so than I was before, maybe even less. Still having a hard time actually relaxing but I think taking supplements is helping with that. Maybe take up boxing for a while?

Thanks guys. I called my Dr. & she had put me on prednisone a couple of days ago for my asthma. Turns out, steroids make you irritable. I should just apologize now in advance for any further rantings. Tee hee hee

If it helps, when I feel like that I remind myself that IT'S JUST A FEELING! Not an imperative to do something, not a precursor to some horrible event, just a feeling. It'll wash over me like a wave, maybe pummel me a little like a big wave, and then wash away.

@ Mark 75, that's hysterical, ha ha! Unfortunately the steroids are necessary to get my asthma under control.
Sugarbear, I am in a recovery program. It's not AA, but it works.
Tigger41, I couldn't have said it better myself, lol!

I took steriods for my allergies and they do make you irrationanal. MUCH MORE SO WHEN DRINKING> If I remember you take them for twenty days and slowy take less each day until the bottle is done. Steriods, for me, gave me cateracts. I took them for too long.

I know those feelings, I was just now looking for something and focused on it, my wife was asking me about something else, I was not answering her so she asks again but louder, I wanted to turn around and scream and probably would have months ago, but I was able to stop, turn around, listen 'Nicely' and then go on about my business.
Feelings are one thing, actions are another
I felt like you once but things finaly did get better...
