Hey RedStrength80! Keep fighting - that's what many of us are doing these days - fighting (and enjoying) one day at a time.

And heck I suppose you're going to get irritable & agitated now and then - sometimes it's just life and sometimes it's that ***** addicition.

Keep posting I'll be keeping an eye out for you.

Hello, and welcome, and congratulations on being sober. It's a big deal. My drunk cow says mmmmmmmmmmmooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I had to start getting the cow drunk so that I could stay sober. It's really expensive to get a 600 pound cow drunk.

On day 20. The last week was not so bad but in the last couple of days, the urge started creeping back up on me. I didn't act on it and I'm glad but I noticed my energy a bit sapped compared to the prior 5 or 6 days. Yeah, still a bit irritable and foggy but it beats going back through withdrawals a million fold. Good job on 21, I'll be there tomorrow!

How awesome it is to have a place
to come to or go to for support while
we are on our recovery journey.

Never do we have to go thru anything
alone again or figure out anything on
our own. All we do is ask and it shall
be recieved.

Hang on tight, relax, and go with the
flow one day at a time, not looking back
to yesterday or forward to tomorrow as
each is gone or hasnt arrived.

I looked to many members traveling
along the same road of recovery as I
and are staying sober or clean and learn
from their own ESH for strength, undertanding,
courage to move forward each day without
a drink.

I see them smile, laugh, frustrated, stressed
and yet they find a way thru it with a program of
recovery to get out of situation that baffle
us.

Each day is a step, building a stronger recovery
foundation to live upon each day to be more
honest, happy, free members within our families,
work, society.

I have been doing this for 21 yrs, starting out
on day one like many. Its a journey. Rewarding
journey to live each day. It's a gift to be appreciated.
