I agree with you, Dominica. Sober since 22 August, and on SSRI and SNRI meds, and I am still waiting for the 're-awakening'. Not much of a libido these days, and having difficulty faking it where there was no difficulty before. I want to see about reducing anti d meds, but that is not going to happen in the next month or so.
I still try to be close and present for the Resident Love Goddess and she is thankfully very patient. She is also happy to see my old life, AWOL for the last 10 years, slowly return. Like most other things these days for me, I am optimistic that things will soon be better than they ever have been.
