new here.
So I just signed up here and have hi hopes talking to people with the same problem will be helpful. I have decided today this ends no more addiction to opioids!! Any helpful advice out there?
Hi and Welcome,
I'm glad you've made the decision to live a sober life.
It might be a good idea to talk to your dr about your plan.
There is lots of support here, so keep reading and posting.

Hi Hopeful10 I just signed up also. It took me 2 hours to actually do it and then started having a panic attack. My DOC is cocaine and alcohol and finally hit rock bottom today when i couldn't get groceries for my family. I need all the help and support i can get and I'm willing to be there for you and everyone else.
Welcome Hopeful10

Welcome Hopeful,
All the best on your recovery. Keep determined and before you feel the need to use or pick up, come and have a chat here.
I am 5 months sober and I feel like a drink every day, the urges are quite powerful. After work last night I came home and went on this website to read and post. It really helps me not to pick up. I also attend AA meetings, get all the support you can.

I am new also
Hi,
I am just starting also to live w/o opiods.
It is hard but we can do it, the hardest part for me is trying to figure out who i am and what I want for my life.
I am doing a out patient program and this helps because it helps me figure the way I used and how to change. Change is hard for me.
have a good day, lorilou1
