Exercise helps!

Just ran my as! off at the gym, ran until I couldn't anymore. At then end, I had a slight headache but felt so calm. Topped it off with a nice relaxing session in the sauna. Last week at this time, I would've already been buzzed. Feeling pretty darn good...hope everyone's having a good day!

Amen to that Quitforme79!
Although I have been successfully treated for depression (for the most part!) My mood still tends to dip a bit in the winter months when there is less sunlight....
I noticed that was beginning to happen again, so I decided to exercise too...
And what a difference it made!
I hope you continue feeling great!
All the best,

Diva76

Yay, quitforme79, that's fantastic news - glad you're doing much better today! I'm planning to start at the gym on Saturday morning - day 6. I've been unable to go in months as I've always been hungover :-(

Thanks for the positive message!

I hear you pootles...you will feel so great after you go. I also found out they're having a nutrition seminar that's free to members so I am going to that over the weekend. I just keep thinking to myself..."seeee, there are a lot of things to do besides hole up in the house, drink, and think about everything that sucks" hehe Let me know how the gym goes!

Keeps you business for an hour or 2 of the day. I hit the gym 4 times a week and sometime 5. It really depend on how I feel in the day if I want to do cardio or not.

Since I've stopped drinking and started exercising, it's truly amazing how my anxiety/panic has almost disappeared (in a short two week period). Thanks for all these encouraging posts.

Thanks for the idea! I've been trying to stay up about Saturday dinner with my husband and I think a run to start the day off is a great idea.
