What a day..long story short..
My wifes purse was stolen this morning. By the time it was
reported they got almost all my direct deposit paycheck.
I was at work. Barely made ithome without drinking.
But did...going to a meeting tonight.
I hate thieves.

She filed a police report. The bank want us to persue getting the$ from the stores
they purchased from.
Anyway...I just got back from a meeting. Feel much better...for now..<smile>

Going to a meeting in the morning and then riding with some
sober people. That will be weird...LOL
Going to tell my family tonight about attending AA. (If you folks
think thats a good idea) They should know how important this
is to us. I NEED to attend meetings and it will take some time.

Just kink of keeping a diary here.
Got back from a meeting.
Mentioned I had never noticed the juice/milk
isle in a store before. Feels weird.
Still having cravings. Booze still my favorite
beverage...but..it only gets worse. Maybe
one day it won't be.
Keep fighting folks.

My wife and daughter left on vacation this am. son in college.
He will be back tomorrow night.
Just got back from a meeting. Wondering what to do the
rest of the night. Guess what came to mind first??
Think I'll try to hit another meeting tonight.

Drag up an old thread here..
I have been sober over two years now.
About a year ago my daughter asked "me" for help
with her addiction to oxy/heroin.
She's been clean for 10 months now.
She said my sobriety encouraged her to ask for help.
Lots more to the story..but..its a pretty good start
compared to where we were.
Thanks to all here..you never know how much your
words of encouragement can change several lives.
