I'm glad that's been working for you Mushishi and I hope it continues to
For most people tho, I think the causal factors go beyond medication.

Mushi, i'm so sorry that you are suffering from this awful disorder. I have done a bit of research on it and it seems extremely terrifying and frustrating. Have you tried looking into finding a Psychologist who specializes in Dissociative Disorders?

I take Lexapro for my Generalized Anxiety Disorder which I have had my whole life and has gotten worse in the past 8 years. I know that my drinking caused Lexapro not to work as well and induced many more side effects from it. Although drinking has helped you with your DP symptoms, it will mess with your brain chemistry even more especially since you are on Zoloft and may even prolong your DP symptoms. I'm not a doctor and I know that you are trying to quit drinking already but that is just my take on this.

I hope this site helps you with your drinking habits and I hope that you get the help you need for your disorder soon. Don't lose hope! You'll get through this!
