I posted a thread on Saturday, worrying about my b-day Sunday, and am very happy to say that I made it. It was my first b-day in 17 years that I have not had a drink/got drunk. I had a lot of bad thoughts, had to turn off my cell phone to avoid paticular people, and for whatever reason, I bought a fish.

Regardless what I did that day, I did not drink, and am still going strong, thanks to this site, my therapist, and my will.

Just wanted to say thanks!

My birthday was also on Sunday October 16th so I know you were born on a great day haha.

I also had a wonderful sober day, isnt it amazing to wake up feeling good as opposed to a completely hung over mess
