So what was your poison?

Hello everyone.....I hope I'm not out of line or posting on the wrong section, but I was just curious to know what your addiction was taken out on and how bad it was at it's worst....starting on my sobriety, I look back and I'm pretty shocked on how bad my using got....I was strictly alcohol with some pot use here and there and at my worst I was downing 8-10 beers everyday in the week exept Saturday's when I drank more than that....it makes me sick just thinking about it....

I was slowly killing myself with alcohol. The amount I drank: all of it; until I physically couldn't lift the bottle to my lips.

I choose to recover using AA and the steps. AA and sobriety has changed my life. I've never been happier. I will soon be celebrating 3 years of sobriety. Woot!

No pills, no LSD, no heroin or ecstacy, no mushrooms.

Anything else-ya better have enough to share! And, why, yes, that is my drink hidden and you can't have any, I Need That!

My philosophy, self centered in the extreme.....

Horrendous me!

No need to apologize at all.

We just have differing views, that's all.

Booze. To the point of a 5th a day. Today is my 50th day, which means $1,000 I haven't spent and I feel wonderful to boot.
