Hi KAnon

This is not actually the chat room - it's the newcomers forum. You'll get people answering you here but it's slower than a real time conversation

If you want real time responses the chat room is on the right hand side of the big blue toolbar that runs across the top of every page, above us ^

click the downward arrow then 'enter chat room'

Welcome

D

welcome to SR sthurn

reading around here and posting got me through some pretty hard times in the beginning when all I wanted to do was drink - maybe it will help you too?

You'll find a lot of support here - and some ideas too

Alcoholics Anonymous works for me, it may be just the ticket for you as well.

Wishing you the best.

Welcome to SR. THere's a lot of good information and support and we have all been through the initial stages of quitting, where it seems an impossible task. You can do it too.
