Changes I am noticing so many different changes in myself after 3 months sober. 1. I have more patience. 2. I am so tired all of time. I can sleep for 10 hours and still be tired. I never used to be like that. 3. My vision has changed. I made an appointment to get my eyes examined today because my script is off now. 4. I appreciate so much. People at work gripe because they are busy. I tell them I am blessed to have a job. Truth be known I am blessed to be alive 5. I went out to listen to a band a couple of times and the second time I went, I wanted to go home and go to bed. Funny that I use to want to stay until last call. The alcohol all around doesn't even bother me. No temptation. 6. I am terrified to get in a car when my friend has had a couple of drinks. I watch everything with scrutiny. 7. And this one is one of my favorites. I am beginning to like myself. Yes I said it. I like myself. Hang in there newbies. |
Great to hear! Keep it up and things will only get better. Thanks for your post, and all the best to you. |

awesome! My vision also changed. My eyesight was apparently mostly blurred from being chronically dehydrated. Actually I've noticed all the same changes as you. It's great right? Also, even though I go to bed earlier I feel like I get more done in a day. |
Life revolves ..ever changes. with sobreity....I sure make better choices and I can embrace the changes daily...:yup: Hope everyone is finding the joy..... |
