120 Days Sober. (4 Months)

Back in 2009 I made it this far and then said I would drink and control it better. Which of course didn't work. This time I'm pushin on through and going even farther. Today is my 120th day sober. Feels good to have made it this far.

Over the last 4 months I've dealt with the lovely thing known as P.A.W.S.
For me it has been a roller-coaster of good and bad days. About 2 weeks ago I went through some of the weirdest body and head sensations that I've ever had. Then about 5 days ago I started feeling normal and better. I've noticed that the good days are stretching out farther as I go along. Which is very nice.

That's my update for now. If your in early recovery, stay strong, it gets so much better.

Congrats Biguyslim,

I can vouch for that, just over 4 months sober and it does get better.

Last night, family dinner same people, different scenario, calm, happy relaxed. The only difference, I wasn't drinking. Methinks, is it possible that I was the one creating all the drama?

BGS do you still have the odd craving/desire for a drink? I do but easier to overcome.

@CaiHong- I've had a couple of times where I want to. Like I went to my county fair and everyone was drinking. Or sometimes my roommates drinks. I want to at first and then remember why I got sober and how much better I feel now.

It Does get better! The next month you'll feel more normal. Keep a lookout, that voice may suggest "just one" so get a plan together now.
