Constructive not Destructive
 

It is a true reality check when you hit the brakes on the alcohol daze and take a right turn over much more difficult terrain , namely the road to sobriety. I have been more productive, energized, alive and engaged in the last 10 days then I have for the last two years. My family recognize me, I have a sense of humor and beginning to have a sense of balance that was once me ... amazing what that clear bottle with the red cap can contain of you! I am still working on what program suits me best, but whatever meeting I go to I am warmed by the look that lights up that says 'you are back, nice to see you again' ... whatever your spiritual stripe, that goes a long way to giving you the 'day to day' confidence. Working on it, one day at a time .... :)
