Life is short..dont throw it away.

Received some sad news today of an athlete friend on a running forum who passed in his sleep at only 47 years of age..he was very very fit and gave me great happiness reading his daily posts and inspired so many of us with his enthusiasm and always ended anything he wrote with 'I love my life'..

Just kinda makes you think how much of life we take for granted..a fit, healthy, human being just GONE with not even a chance of goodbye to any of his family or friends..

I may have wasted 20 or so of the past years drowning my sorrows, but Ill be damned if Ill do that with the the time Ive got left! No longer will I take life for granted and use the excuse 'You only live once so what the hell?!'..thats no reason to throw it away.

♥Stay strong..Happy Tuesday ♥

I'm sorry for your loss.

It's always interesting to me that the only thing we know for absolute certainty, is that we are going to die. And, yet, we so easily forget that.
