You say you are doing all that is suggested. What step are you on? And what are you doing with steps 10, 11 and 12? I found that once i really got working on those, my life turned around. Sure, i am still broke, but my life is very full today.

For me, life is about working hard to get what I want. Being ethical about it is important. Being free from active addiction gave me the time and the mental capacity to work toward my goals.
I can channel the dogged determination I had to seek drugs, use drugs and to try in vain with all my resourcefulness to make it work some how, into constructive sober endeavors today.
For me personalty, overcoming addiction was a monumental accomplishment. I now seek that same rewarding feeling in making gains in the tasks I take on today.
