PAWS issues

I'm struggling with what I guess is PAWS. Is it common, even if you didn't drink really heavily? Will it improve in a short time? Do I see a doctor about anti-depressants? I had no physical symptoms from quitting, but after 2 weeks now I feel really crummy mentally. My mood goes from flat and unenthusiastic at best to irritable or negative and self-critical. I am not usually like this.

At 2 weeks your body is recovering. Give time time. You numbed your feelings while drinking. Now those feelings can be felt.

Are you in a recovery program? What are you changing in your daily life other than not drinking? There are many things changing now...it takes 30 days to change a habit. If you're like me, there are many habits that need changing. Give time time!!!

Your "usually not like this" no, your body was numbed, now it's up to you to take control of your Attitude. Listen to aa speakers online.
