Two months today

Well today is two months. Last time I made it to two months, I started drinking heavily for a month. Things are getting much better. The mood swings are decreasing, I am seeing my girls more. My mind is getting sharper. My new job is really taxing but I am enjoying it. The stress is not getting to me. I am handling the crisis with my family without overreacting. I haven't gone to an AA meeting in a month but I will go today to get my 2 month chip. Thanks to all for being there for me. Blessings.

Well done, LPN. Glad things are improving in your life. I hit 30 days yesterday, and will pick up my chip tonight. Good for you for recognizing where you fell last time. I hope it will strengthen you for this journey! Maybe things will be different for you at your meeting today? I have to say AA has been real good for me this time, after I was ready to blow it off for good.

2 months is a huge deal!!! I feel ya on the mood swing. It really does continue to get better and even out. Thanks for sharing

When I first got sober I thought my stressful job would do me in, I was wrong, I can handle the job stress a lot better now than before!

Congrats on the 2 months, thats huge!
