De-lurking
Hi all,
Just wanted to introduce myself. Been finding myself checking this site quite a bit since I stopped drinking a few weeks ago (August 13). I'd found it a few years ago when I gave up drinking for a few months, but it's been a trying couple of years since then and now's as good a time as any to really do this sobriety thing.
I've had a long history with depression and anxiety, which probably led me to drink in the first place back in college, but that's a tale for another time. It took me long enough to go ahead and register and introduce myself in the first place.
Anyway, hi all. You seem like a really good group of people, from what I've read. Keep up the good fight.

Congrats on getting sober.....
It's so easy to put it off, I know. I did it for years and found that things only got worse.
It was strange being sober at first, but coming here helped me get through the rough spots. I'm glad you joined. We all need support to do this......
