I've decided to go to a rehab
Outpatient just wouldn't work for me right now.
Good luck to you.
I quit drinking alcohol for a little over a yr on my own...actually the longest time i didn't drink in the last 23yrs.
I think I did it out of spite though.I was pushing my boyfriend to quit taking pills. He started talking about my drinking.I told him if he quit the pills;I'd quit drinking.
He didn't quit but I quit drinking....

Awesome Decision
Zorrilla, you could not have made a better decision than to go and experience what an inpatient program has to offer you. Don't set you expectations to high. They can't give you some miraculous cure for the disease of addiction but they can offer you a lot of information, tools, and steps to assist with abstinence and recovery. Because in the end only you can walk your path in life no one can do it for you. You are the key that unlocks the door to a new and rewarding life of recovery.
PS. don't sweat the gadgets the will all be there when you return home. This is going to be a time about and for you. Use it well as it will influence the rest of your life.
