Bumping this again - went looking for it and rereading the post that Dee graciously (of course) copy and pasted is such a good reminder of what this technique encompasses, how somewhat simple it can be, and how deeply valuable it is.

I find this is something I return to again and again - even if it's just the acknowledgment and observation of the urge itself. Over time I have come to see the urge as separate from me, at least when I am not giving in to it and slaving myself to it's poisionous wants.

Anyhow, thanks as ALWAYS Dee.

Felt an urge tonight after golf, 8 pm for me, town is a resort town , it’s alit with loud music outside and banging from the renters children upstairs. Water, cottage cheese, and wheat thins (crackers) are helping.....


And reading and posting here.. It will go away. Already subsiding.
