I? Inspired someone to quit?

Amazing isn't it. The last friend I would have ever thought would quit drinking is now 18 days sober. I guess the strip clubs and huge bar tabs were eating at his marriage so he made a change, and told me I was his inspiration.

Good for both of you!! It's a great feeling, isn't it? A person never knows how they're affecting the lives of others.

In turn it inspires me to keep going. We talked about going fishing on my boat, I asked him 'have you ever been on a boat sober', he said no, lol.

That is very inspiring! Of course everyone has their own choices to make, but it's so nice to know when we have positively influenced another!

Wow. Good for you. I've tried to inspire a friend to quit with no success, so good on you.
You're setting an example we ALL should follow.
Amazing. Your post is very uplifting.
