Hurricane Irene - Stay Safe

I just wanted to say to all of those who will be affected by hurricane Irene to be careful and stay safe. I'm in it's direct path and we're just waiting for it to get here, waiting is truly the worst part.

Take care,
J

J...you must be near me. At least we will have our wits about us during the storm and not drunk. I find I can handle anything life throws at me as long as I am sober

Thank you Life! I am in Ocean City, MD area - we are extremely nervous. Supposedly 2am is when we'll get hit the hardest. When we're trying to sleep & it's all dark - not good.

Thinking of you all as we brace ourselves....at least we are clearheaded to face whatever comes!

Hello all. I am just now getting my power back after losing it Saturday night. Can't complain though, that's really the worst that happened. We even had a family day picking up all the sticks and limbs in the yard though I don't think my 9yo counted that as quality time.

I hope that everyone else fared ok as well.

Good to hear you are well. I hope you played cards and board games by candle light
