I'm confused. MOST people are like that. If you're recovering from alcoholism or substance abuse, there are programs for young people, and not just AA.

When I was in college, those interested in their education and "not partying" were involved in their studying and sports or hobbies with a well rounded and grounded life.
Not sure who or what you want.

Non addicted people don't need to try to stay sober. My college, a small one, even had AA meetings back in the '80s. Young people working on sobriety do exist.
Be well!

My daughter was highly involved in the CHOICES organization at her school. They had many events and lots of people who were into making the right choices - not just about alcohol and drugs, but also sex, bigotry, etc. They are pretty widespread. I remember her going to conferences in California, Atlanta, and other places. It was really a worthwhile experience for her.
