Yes, it was felt in Virginia, DC, Ohio, New York, Maryland, etc. I felt it, but I also have a brother in Virginia now, can't quite get a hold of them. Guessing cell phone towers are out or overloaded, people are probably all trying to use them at once.

Hope everyone affected is well, given the circumstances.

Didn't know you got them back there. They're like our main weather pattern out here--mostly sunny with a chance of shake. Hope everything is ok.

I'm on the top floor of an office building...my window suncatchers were clinking. First shake i have ever experienced...I just walked down 12 flights. it was a 5.8 down in Virginia, so I guess we got the aftershock?

phones are working here.

I called my brother! Haven't talked to him in a while. He has my son. Can't get hold of my parents.

Brother "wants to know I've completed a program of recovery." He doesn't understand this disease...

What's also weird, is that we had an earthquake in Colorado today.. we never (rarely) have them! It was quite far from where I live, but just odd that we're all shaking about

Felt it here in Albany too - pretty weird feeling; that's for sure. Never experienced an earthquake in my life.

Now I'm hoping the Hurricane stays off of Long Island as I leave to travel there. Hang on NC, LI, NJ & MA. (That's the last prediction I saw for the projected path - but you never know).

Mother nature at its best, eh? These certainly aren't boring times.

We didn't feel much in Ocean City, MD - but maybe that's because we were driving & not still.

My parents are in NJ, haven't talked to them today but a cousin said she felt it.
Another cousin in CO had one...probably near you, Flutter...and strangely enough we had one in the Dakotas a week ago. Very strange for all!!
Hope everyone is safe.
