Again, I cannot thank you all enough. I am waiting for a bed to open. I've been told that it could be tomorrow or as late as Tuesday. Funny thing that happened today on the phone with the Detox center was me being told, "Don't stop drinking. You can try to taper down, but stopping could kill you before you even get here." I guess not really funny, as I know it to be true, but the irony was rich. I really hope I can get in tomorrow morning!

I'm so happy you found some hope and are going to be able to make the first step in fighting your physical addiction to alcohol. Life is good when you stop dying. My friends in rehab still laugh at one of my first comments in rehab when asked why I was there, "I want to stop throwing up."
