One week and...

Finally I've lost the anxiety / depression.

I actually woke up with A LOT of energy. I had off today (so i got a good amount of sleep). Finished my book, got some panera, and I'm going to go to the gym for a couple hours.

Is it normal for it to take a week for my anxiety to lesson? Idk... all week was hard I was feeling guilty/depressed/anxious at random times.

What's "normal"? We're all different, just embrace the positives you are experiencing and keep on the path. My best to you on your journey.

I'm glad you are feeling well. It's such a great feeling. And the energy that returns...

Good for you going to the gym. That has to help.

That's great to hear Philly! I am on day 4 and still feeling a bit of anxiety, but so far, today I feel less anxiety than I did yesterday. Thanks for sharing - it helps to know that I am not alone. Be strong!!

It took about a week for me too, for the anxiety to lessen. not sure it's gone entirely but I am just happy it's getting better. exercise totally helps too. have fun at the gym!

I feel like such less of a waste. My days seem longer. Going to the DRs for my foot. I'm anxious for my fall flag football league to start!!! Thanks for the support from everyone; you guys have already been making the process extremely more painless than I could have imagined, I really appreciate it.

Stick in there Phillyphan8811 the first week can sometimes be a massive hurdle.
Proud of you

One week! Yay!

I find walking my dog (and other forms of exercise I assume, but all I've managed these past few sober days has been walking my dog) REALLY has helped with that nasty anxiety too!

Think how much better you'll be at flag football when you're playing without any hangover! Congrats on the week and on the lessening of anxiety!

EDIT to say... not that I meant you were bad at flag football before, or anything!!! ha ha! You know what I meant, I hope! :)
