First Weekend

Was going fine, then my room ate came back with Samuel dams Oktoberfest.

How he even get that beer as early as he did is beyond me. I refused the beer, of course.

This fall will be tough, i was a huge fall beer guy and I all and love the season.

I'm replacing fall beers with fall cooking / and non alcoholic drinks. Glad the weekend is over!

Getting through the first weekend is major - congrats!!:c011:

I always found a reason to drink - happy, sad, holidays, football, summer, spring, fall and winter. Just focusing on today helps a lot I think. Otherwise, it just seems overwhelming.

You're building strength as you go along. I like your idea of cooking and coming up with non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy. Sounds like you're doing really well!:day6

Congratulations, Philly. I didn't really enjoy my first weekend sober--I think saying I endured it would be more accurate. It got much better after that, though, and now weekends are fun and I don't think about drinking.

Every day was a reason to drink. Weekends were just more time to do so. I've taken control of kitchen, bathroom & bedroom since Friday. More to do tomorrow. When all is organized, on to hobbies I used to enjoy.
