Im sticking to my plan...

Im ok today. I feel exactly the same as yesterday. Bored. I honestly at least at the moment do not want to quit forever. I want to have it as a social drinker. A family that I know drink 2 bottles of wine each evening and they are fine. Kids are growing, business is successful. I really would like to be social drinker. So that means nothing on Mon-Thu.
Which is doable.
So what happened to you, that your husband had to pour everything out?

Healthyfood, i know the decision to drink is up to you of course, and I wish you the best! I feel the need to repeat what another poster said that really hit home with me: "People who can control their drinking do not try to control their drinking."
Be careful!
Be careful!
And by the way--I drank two bottles of wine a night, six figure income, happily married 23 years, and i THOUGHT my kids were fine (boy was I wrong there) No one had a clue i had a drinking problem or any sort of dysfunction. That family you mention that are "doing fine", they may be....but just remember things are hardly ever what they appear to be on the surface!
