New Here

Hi,I have been living with a active AGF for the past 13 years and, I think that I am addicted to my AGF.I have some how lost myself and need help finding me again. The past 4 to 5 years have gotten to the point where all I think about is her feelings, her reactions, her drinking just everything surounding her.I am afraid if I don't get help, I am going to go crazy.

Hey ladymc ... welcome to SR. I'm glad you found us.

Keep reading and posting. You'll find you're not alone in how you feel.

Have you checked into Alanon meetings in your area?

Welcome to SR lady. There is a lot of support and help here for alcoholics/addicts and our friends and family. You've come to the right place (we all have a bit of experience with going crazy and how to get sane again). I hope you find the support you need here.

Welcome. You might want to check out the "family and friends of alcoholics" section to find more people in your particular situation.

Welcome ladymc - Glad you're here. It's pretty hard not to be affected when someone we love has an addiction - and you've had 13 years of practice! While you can't change your AGF, you can have your own "recovery" from her disease.

We have a great section for family and friends of alcoholics. I know you'll find lots of support there:Friends and Family of Alcoholics - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information
