Couple questions about AA

Sorry I'm so late in updating you all!! Well, I made it through the 5 days and it was very difficult. I did make it to an AA meeting and I thought it was really cool. I basically just sat and listened but afterward, lots of people came up to say hi. I made a connection with another girl there about my age and we exchanged numbers, so that was cool!! The rest of my 5 days were spent getting over some kind of allergic reaction. I think it was stress related as my body always seems to transfer emotional stress to physical stress. Anyway, I had a really hard time with panic attacks while my family was gone and it was not fun!! I guess the important thing is that I DID NOT DRINK!!! 
And now they're home and all is well. I think I need to look more closely at how I can't seem to be alone and be ok with it for any extended period of time. I felt like I was going crazy!!!
Anyway, I'm still sober and that's the important thing! Thanks all for your support and help!!
