Soooo tired

I know it's normal to be tired during early recovery but I'm starting to think there's something else wrong with me. I could sleep, sleep, sleep!

I'm back to full time working this week (came back to work two weeks ago and did part time for two weeks) and I'm not sure how I'm going to manage it. Any tips please?

I'm on day 8 and all I have is insomnia, but I do feel tired in general, but getting sleep is very hard. Maybe others who have more sober days can shed some light into this.

I don't know if I have any tips, but I can let you know that the same thing has crossed my mind. I have been sober for a little while now and I am still fighting being tired all the time. I think it's normal. As many people here have said, look at what your body has had to deal with! I think it's just your body's way of trying to recover. If you're concerned, though, it never hurts to ask a doc!

My sober date is 2 days after yours. I think I am inthe same boat. At least I hope its from recovery. If not I hope this isn't just how I will be sober. I have nothing to compare to because I was always tired and hungover before. But yeah. I could sleep forever. Im working out as much as I can too which helps somewhat but then I'm exhausted from working out. Lol

It was pretty normal for me ttbp - for about two weeks anyway.
I think we don't realise just what our kind of drinking puts our minds and bodies through.

I suggest you talk to your doctor. You may be lacking something.

I'm at 21 days and I'm feeling the exact same thing! It's not a "worn-out" feeling that I get, it's a "nodding off to sleep" kind of tired!
