Gosh...really needed the laughs...AARP card (I'm officially at the age now...maybe I should get one for my wallet)...and a fishing license...LOL

No seriously...nothing in my wallet...broke as all get out...but rich with sobriety.

In my wallet: A little money, debit cards, NRA card, fishing license, driver’s license and a half of a torn dollar…

I actually bought me a new wallet since I quit drinking; this genuine cowhide wallet has never seen me drunk or had to pay for any alcohol or had to wait for me at the jail house.

I have a rubber band around some credit cards, my insurance card, my license and cash (when I have it).

But when I quit I estimated a savings of around $500 a month. Believe it or not, saving the money is a big motivator for me and I think about it whenever I get minor urges.

Considering I am in a different situation than when I drank -being separated. The money I make is less and I am truly glad that none of it has been wasted on booze. I do have to cut back on rawhides but we gotta keep the kids happy!
Gas is killing me driving 70 miles a day but again --at least its not on booze!
My wallet consists of credit cards I don't use, a discount card to the store I work at and $5. LOL Life is good...I'm happy, sober and free....and the sun is shining.

Still broke, but at least I get to keep the crap I buy instead of throwing it up.

I'm just glad I have a wallet. They take those away in the hospital, rehab and jail. The coolest thing in my purse now is my passport, which I can use because I am not tied to the bottle.

Where I work you can get a coffee card. You buy 10 Starbucks coffees you get the next one free.

I HAVE A FREE COFFEE IN MY WALLET!

me? hhm... lets see, identification card, drivers license, bank cards (with little to no money in them), 4 maxxed out credit cards on alcohol (still trying to figure out how im gonna pay the roughly USD6000 debt which i successfully managed to rake up in 1 1/2 months), about an equivalent to USD20 in hand, a watson's membership card, and that would be about it.

Well, at least i aint drinking.
