Moving to Hawaii...
Yes my life is looking like its going to be quite strenuous when i move to Maui 
hahah
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has attended or is currently attending Narcotics Anonymous meetings in Hawaii... I am moving to Maui however i will also be spending weekends in Honolulu - waikiki frequently.
I would love to hear any experiences with NA (and of corse AA is great too! however I am in the NA program as far as steps, sponsor, etc...) or any insight, meeting lists (The good the bad and the ugly ones haha), or anything else you might be willing to share!
I'm moving out there by myself and I dont know ANYONE! Im very excited but nervous (obviously) at the same time. I'm a 22 year old male so finding a support network & network of clean/sober friends is critical! but oh what an adventure!
If anyone lives in Maui I would love to talk to you further! The fellowship of the recovering community is unparalleled, i love you all! Thank you!

A woman in one of the meetings I go to has frequently mentioned attending AA meetings in Hawaii. She said that the one she went to was on a beach. Sounds like a better location than a church basement. I'm sure if you google Hawaii AA or intergroup you will find a lot of info.

My son is stationed in Hawaii. It's not a very big island so I'm sure finding what you are looking for will not be too difficult.
