want to slip

We have no money so we cant go and do this what we are thinking of doing.
But we want drugs and drink so badly right now ....wouldn't know where to get the drugs but the drink we know where to get that.
But we only have 1 pound to do us a week and when we do get money it has to go to a debt company for something Ella's husband didn't pay for a long time ago.
So there is no chance of us getting drink or drugs at all.
So why are we posting ...we are thinking of begging to get some money for drink.
we have begged before when we were homeless , but have we stooped so low.
That would mean we would have to leave the house on our own with out Ella's husband and go on a bus on our own and we haven't done that in years because of social anxiety but we feel that strongly about getting drink
We might even ask the dr for more Valium but we know Ella's husband will say something if we do.
We don't have a sponsor at the moment and there is no one we can call about this with
so its here we can only get support

We feel bad because of flashbacks of abuse it hard to handle and we dont have a Therapist because it takes 2 years to get one on the NHS and we cant afford to pay for one
we have been refereed to a psychiatrist but it takes a few weeks.
Cant go to a meeting at the moment because its late at night here.
would go to one tomorrow but we have no money for the contribution but we could always pay double when we have it .
It wont cost us any money to get there as we have a bus pass that gets Ella's husband on as well as us because we are disabled.
Going to have some decaf coffee at the moment and try and re focus on other things apart from drink and drugs

The answers not in drink or drugs and you know that.
I think that answer is reaching out - getting some real help - it must be very tiring to white knuckle like this....if nothing else tell Ella's husband about this.

It's one day at a time. If we can hang in just for today....tomorrow will seem a little brighter.

We managed to make an AA meeting my husband sat in with me as well.

Having flashbacks today so not feeling so good at the moment
was going to go to a meeting but we feel that going there will make some of us feel unsafe.
we are unsure what to do

I'm glad you didn't cave in to your urges. Drinking/Drugging may seem to take the edge off, but then we're left with an empty, regretful feeling when we do sober up again. It can never be worth it. Hope you are feeling better today.
