I finally made it outside
 

It took me awhile to get going this morning. Very anxious but I managed to go to several places to put in applications. I even stopped and had lunch by myself. Something I never do. It was a good day.

That's great, lpnangel!! Way to get a running leap on your sobriety! You're brave... I've yet to take myself out to eat.

It's the seemingly small but scary things that add up, and once you are doing them, the sense of achievement is HUGE. Great job, glad to see you are feeling positive!!!

Life comes back, a little at a time, first some old things then some new. We become a little of what we were before our addictions but also something more. I think its something called maturation--arrested in many of us during our years using. I'm glad you had a good day. May many more follow.
