Welcome!! Dropping the drink is going to be the best decision you can make!

Before I made the decision to quit, I read alot of posts here and I also looked at the sticky posts "what to expect". That really clued me in on what might happen and how I could expect to feel when starting recovery.

Your body is detoxing itself~~ and the routine advice here is to call up your doctor and go get an exam and discuss what's going on. Medical supervision might be necessary.

I had mild symptoms, but everyone is different. I was agitated and cranky, hungry all the time, couldn't sleep worth crap, and jumping outta my skin sometimes but it all passes in time. So yeah, please see your doctor!

You came to an awesome place.......lots of support, lots of advice, and lots of really great people you can relate to. Promise!

This is the thread Leo mentioned
http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/...at-we-did.html

With the sweating - it's common in withdrawal - & especially if you're in summer right now anyway.

If you're concerned, a Dr really is a good port of call anyway
