Welcome coming here is a good start - you'll find a lot of support

Beyond SR, a lot of people find going to their Dr can be a good first step - it's not only a good idea for detox to have some medical advice but you might also get advice on where to go or what to do next.

Counselling and rehab (inpatient and outpatient) have helped a lot of people here too.

Recovery groups are probably the most accessible face to face help though - there's AA, but there's others too.
