What a trade off!

I was soberly (in more ways than one) paying my bills today when it occurred to me that the money I was saving on booze more than paid my health insurance. Now that seems like more than a fair trade off to me. It also occurred to me that I was in better health than I have been for a long time. It is so good to focus on what I am gaining, which is everything, rather than on what I'm giving up, which is nothing. Maybe my karma's sobering up too.

Absolutely. And yes, your karma is sobering up. Remember what goes around comes around. The better is gets the better it gets.
